Interview with Michelle Lam
Liaison Officer for Medical Education Issues 2023-24
It’s been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone in AMSAHK right now! There are many things you can prepare for the position, such as by talking to Regional Assistants or any other members on the International and Regional Teams about the workload in their respective departments and what skill sets they’ll need for the role, attending IFMSA General Assemblies to know more about the Federation in general and exchange ideas with delegates from other National Member Organisations.
Interview with Aramva
AMSA-Nepal Regional Chairperson
AMSA-Nepal has provided me with numerous opportunities to engage in meaningful initiatives and events ever since I joined in first year, allowing me to enhance my skills and contribute to the medical community. Although the COVID-19 pandemic posed challenges and limited the scope of activities for a while, I am grateful for the time I have spent with AMSA-Nepal. It has been a valuable experience that has shaped my understanding of medicine and my professional growth.
Interview with Dr. Nicholas Fung
At AMSAHK we always strive to keep the contributions of those who came before us in mind, and continue their work towards the future. For the inaugural issue of this alumni newsletter, our current president Charlotte spoke to Dr. Nicholas Fung, Clinical Assistant Professor at HKU as well as one of the founding members of AMSAHK, to learn more about the roots of our organisation as well as his own experience in building it.
